Beta-Reading & Reader Reports
Beta-reading involves reading your unpublished novel to see how a reader will perceive it as is. A good beta reader will offer constructive critiques, suggest edits, and help the writer in identifying issues in flow.
Manuscript Assessment
A bit deeper than beta reading, a manuscript assessment (also sometimes called a substantive or structural edit) is an overview the overall structure of the manuscript including style, characters, plot and more.
Developmental Editing
Developmental editing is my specialty and involves a deep dive of your novel, and give itemized, in-line citation as I read through the novel. I also supply an editorial report on the novel, 1-on-1 consultations, and suggestions or partial rewrites if needed.

Every book needs to be edited before being published. Writers are great at finding the diamond, but editors are needed to polish it to perfection.
Trying to edit yourself is just patting yourself on the back. You feel better, but you didn’t really accomplish much.
